Please don’t forget it’s the Eastleach annual litter pick weekend on Saturday 12th March, where volunteers fish litter out of the ditches and hedges before the spring growth kicks in and covers it all up. Its also coincides with the national “Clean For The Queen” campaign to celebrate Her Majesty the Queens 90th Birthday this year – so lets all do our bit !
We work in small teams for about an hour on our various routes and then the council takes it all away.
Please meet up with Gill O’Shaughnessy at 12 noon outside the Victoria Inn, and kit (Marigolds or equivalent, hi-viz jackets, bin bags, clever clampy sticks to reduce bending/physical contact) all supplied.
