Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust have awarded Phil Bower the “Holmes silver salver” for being the Best Fundraiser in the “70 and over category” of the Historic Churches Ride and Stride 2017. Phil bicycled to 29 churches, covered about 50 miles and raised £613.75, for the Trust.
Phil would like to thank everyone who sponsored him for their generosity and he hopes to take part again on 8th September.
Phil`s name is engraved on the salver and he will hold it for a year. A great inspiration to us all.
