Dear all, a very belated email to let you know that we managed to raise a very well rounded sum of £350 at our Royal Wedding Tea Party last month, which represents a very welcome contribution to the badly needed new guttering for the village hall.
A lovely time was had by all, the sun shone, Tash Gasson’s wedding hat did the rounds, and we had a marvellous turn out.
A huge thanks to all of you who contributed such delicious cakes, ran the Pimms table and came to party with us.
Now, if anyone wants to organise another event to celebrate Princess Eugenie’s October wedding to Jack Brooksbank, just let us know! (joke)
