Thank you to everyone who sponsored me for last weekends’ annual Ride and Stride event to raise funds for the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust.
As promised, I cycled to every Place of Worship – 27 churches and Chapels – within the Fairford Deanery. This involved an almost exactly fifty mile ride between Bibury, Barnsley, The Ampneys, Meysey Hampton, Castle Eaton, Fairford and Lechlade and all the villages in between. My daughter Janet, and Peter McHugh accompanied me on the ride, which we all enjoyed.
You all sponsored me for over £500 – a sum which will be significantly increased by Gift Aid.
