Eastleach – CHURCHWARDEN VACANCY

St Andrew’s Church Eastleach is an 11th Century building which is used regularly for worship, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals, and thanks to careful management is still in good condition after 800 years. It is also a great asset to our village as a historic building which enjoys many visitors throughout the year. To continue this help is required.

Ben and Sue the present Church Wardens are retiring at the end of April this year (after serving for many years) and would like those interested in having a role to play in St Andrew’s future development to get in touch.

There is already a good team of people who prepare for services, greet worshippers each week, arrange flowers throughout the year, serve at Communion, arrange readers for each service, ring the bells, arrange the organists rota and look after the building – so the overall role of Churchwarden is helped enormously by these volunteers.

Please consider if you could take on this role to secure St Andrew’s future.

Contact Sue on 01367 850449 or suesouter@btinternet.com Ben on 01285 711625 or bb@riskassured.co.uk for more information.
