HIDDEN CHEQS BUSINESSES – Rhiannon Brown

Behind the walls of some of our CHEQS residences, people are busy running small businesses.
This month we put the SPOTLIGHT ON… … Rhiannon Brown

I’ve lived in this area of the Cotswolds for most of my life, growing up in Whelford, and going to school in Fairford. Since having my little boy, Rémy, a couple of years ago, I’ve spent more time in Quenington as we love going to the toddler group
in the village hall. When a house became available in Quenington, I jumped at the chance of moving here with Rémy and my partner, Chris.

I’ve worked in the fitness industry for 10 years, working as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in Cirencester before going on to complete avdegree in Sports Studies at Southampton SolentcUniversity. After finishing university, I worked in an office for seven years andcdiscovered the impact normal life, not just sport, can have on your body. So I decidedcto get a qualification in sports massage, and this is where my passion for massage therapy started. While I was pregnant with Rémy, I also discovered the joy of a pregnancy massage. After experiencing one myself, and realising how much it helped, I added pregnancy massage to my qualifications.

The main motivation for my passion in my work is the joy I get from helping people to feel better from their discomfort – whether it be from a sports injury, back pain from sitting down at work, or aches and pains from pregnancy. Stress also puts the body under a huge amount of strain and a relaxation massage is an excellent way to help alleviate this.

If you are interested in having a massage or just want to have a chat about how a massage might be able to help, please give me a call on 07718 087348 or email me: r.brown10@hotmail.co.uk
