At Midcounties Co-operative we are working hard to support the most vulnerable members of our communities during the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19). Can you help us to spread the word to those who need us?
Food home delivery for vulnerable people
We have introduced a home delivery service for vulnerable people who are self-isolating and can’t get out to shop for food. If you know someone who needs our help and lives within three miles of one of our stores www.midcounties.coop/stores then please put them in touch with us. Just ask them to call our membership team on 0800 435 902 and we will take their order from our food essentials shopping list. If they want the list in front of them when they call they can find it here mid.coop/HomeDelivery
Once we have taken the order we will pass it on to their local food store, who will contact them to confirm what’s available, take payment and arrange delivery. The order will be delivered to their door by one of the local members and volunteers we have teamed up with so that we can provide this service. There is no charge for delivery.
If they prefer, they can email us at member.communications@midcounties.coop and we will call them back.
