New Tree in our Cotwolds Garden

As we recently lost a Stag Horn tree in the summer storms, we decided to replace it with something that we have been coverting for some time…..

Prunus nigra is a species of Prunus, native to eastern North America from New Brunswick west to southeastern Manitoba, and south to Connecticut across to Iowa. It formerly also occurred south to Ohio but is now thought to be extinct in that state.
Scientific name: Prunus Nigra
