Following the success of last year’s Apple Day, Quenington Village Hall is planning another afternoon of apple-related activities at the hall, from 2.00 – 5.00 pm on Saturday 17th October.
These include:
Apple pressing for juice / cider – bring your apples (up to a wheelbarrow full) and containers for the juice.
Growing and pruning advice;
Apple variety identification and mapping;
Apple games and activities for children;
Seed swap
Apple pie competition *
Art competition for children – create an apple face*
Apple tree photo competition for adults and children*
Tea, cakes, juice and cider served; raffle Volunteers to help on the day will be welcome!
