Due to current guidance not to encourage the public
to attend services, there will be no formal service.
There will be a short act of Remembrance.
Shortly before 11am, the wreath will be brought from the church
and laid at the war memorial.
After the national two minutes’ silence, the names of the fallen
from our village community will be read.
The PCC, as church leaders, are not able to invite anyone to attend,
but if anyone does attend, they do so entirely at their own risk and
are to keep to current social distancing protocols.
There will be a live service of remembrance at Lechlade –
viewable online – via the St Lawrence Church Lechlade
website, during which the names of the fallen of Lechlade,
Eastleach and Southrop will be read.
