We are receiving a large number of reports of Covid-19 breaches of people staying in holiday lets , Air B n B and second homes. Guidance is clear and no overnight stays are allowed and you must stay in your primary residence unless there is a very good reason and exemption in the restrictions. ( this also applied when we were in tier 4)
Scammers are trying to take advantage of peoples worries and uncertainty about the covid pandemic, especially those who are alone, self-isolating or in financial difficulty.
Please be on the look out for a a black Mondeo estate car that has been seen at the farm yard of Eastleach Downs Organic Farm this morning at 7am. Reported that two young lads were in the vehicle.
We have received a report of an email circulating from the DVLA that a car tax refund is due. This is a scam so please delete the email and do not open any attachments.

There have been several reported thefts from sheds and motor vehicles over the last two days in the Stratton area of Cirencester.
Please could you ensure all outbuildings and vehicles / trailers are secure and report any suspicious activity or thefts to police either online or via the non emergency number, 101.

Telephone fraud offences happening in the Cotswolds. This morning we have received two reports from residents in the Cotswold and Stroud districts of phone calls being made to elderly residents in an effort to obtain their bank card details.
