St Andrew’s Eastleach Special Services 2019

Keble Service – Wednesday 8th May 6.00pm – St Andrew’s. Evensong commemorating the life and work of John Keble, leader of the Oxford Movement, who worked as a curate here in Eastleach, to be sung by the Choir of Keble College, Oxford

Village Celebration  – Sunday 7th July 11.00am

Harvest Thanksgiving – Sunday 22nd September 11.00am – Bouthrop Church with a party afterwards in Bouthrop Barn

Remembrance Sunday – 10th November 10.50am

Carol Service – Saturday 14th December 6.00pm 

We hope that as many Villagers as possible will be able to attend all or some of these very special events in our beautiful Churches at the heart of our  wonderful Village.

This medieval stone bridge across the River Leach links the villages of Eastleach Martin and Eastleach Turville, is named after John Keble. The bridge is narrow as it was built for pedestrians and for horses carrying people or packs of goods.
