HIKE FOR HOMESTART – Wednesday 10th. May 2017 – 9.30 am. at Church Farm Barn, Yanworth, GL54 3LG
The 10 km Hike will begin and end in Yanworth at one of Stowell’s beautiful barns. We will be walking through woodlands, along the river, down Roman paths and parts of The Monarch’s Way and The MacMillan Way with spectacular views of Stowell itself as the walk takes us through some of Britain’s most beautiful private valleys.
Refreshments / Lunch: there will be coffee, tea and cakes for all walkers as they return. Tickets for Hike and Refreshments are £15. There will also be lunch available for 100 walkers. Tickets for Hike and Lunch are £25
Lunch will be provided by The Wiggly Worm, a fantastic Gloucestershire based charity who produce delicious food and amongst other great projects, they run the Bistro at The Star Centre in Leckhampton.

A walk in Stowell Park. This year we have again organised our annual Hike for Home-Start Cotswolds around the beautiful valleys of Stowell Park by kind permission of Lord and Lady Vestey.
Home-Start Cotswolds is a local charity, which provides regular support, friendship and practical help for young families in the Cotswold District Council area. Each year Home-Start Cotswolds aims to support at least 60 families in the area.
Our volunteers visit families weekly and work alongside parents, in their own homes, to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life. Home-Start works because our trained volunteers are parents and they understand how hard it can be to bring up young children.
