Saga Insurance Scam
Gloucestershire police have received a report from a care home that the residents have been targeted by bogus leaflets sent to try and get residents to buy insurance policies for vehicles.
This is using SAGA insurance logos. SAGA insurance have been contacted and they have confirmed the leaflets are not from them.
This is a scam to try and obtain money from elderly residents.
Police are sending out this alert in case the public are sent similar leaflets and can confirm this is a scam.
Please share this with friends and families who have family in care homes to be aware.
